With restrictions taking over well-known e-wallets such as Neteller and Skrill, many users have been on the hunt for a new option offering an equally high standard of safety and security. ecoPayz, a PSI-Pay company, has become the go-to solution for many with its wide range of availability and convenience of quick access to cash via the ecoCard.
How Does ecoPayz Work?
Among the perks is the numerous countries and currencies this solution is open to. Registration requires the standard information including name, email, date of birth, address and phone number. In order to make the most of your account, you’ll be required to submit proof that you are who you say you are and you live where you say you live.
Upon registration, your account begins at the Classic level. Once you submit photo id and address verification documents, your account moves up to Silver status and becomes eligible to make send and receive money.
Moving through the remaining levels will depend on account activity. The VIP ecoAccount offers is the top tier and offers users the highest limits, free international money transfers and a lower currency conversion fee on e-wallet transactions.
Fund your account using a credit card, bank account or even an ecoVoucher.
5 account levels: Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP.

ecoCard - prepaid card
You can use your virtual account to transact with online merchants but they’ve got something even better for customers - the ecoCard. It allows for cash withdrawals in three currencies: Euro, GBP and USD. Not only can you get cash from ATM’s with no problem but the fee for doing so is quite low. In fact, it really costs you nothing to use this card unless you need a PIN reminder, a new card or make a purchase involving currency conversion.
It’s considered a “prepaid” card because, technically, you are limited by the balance in your ecoAccount. The daily limits are also pretty decent. For example, a Silver member can withdraw €250 from the ATM up to 3 times per day and make €1,000 in purchases per day. Highly levels offer higher limits. Finally, the MasterCard logo ensures that you can use the card almost anywhere.
Pros and Cons
The good things definitely outweigh the bad here. This payment method is accessible to a lot of countries making it quite handy, especially if you have the need to transfer funds to users in other geographical locations. The MasterCard makes the whole thing worth it. Customers benefit from instant funds transfers and easy access to account balances. They’re also not gouging you on fees, which is always a plus.
On the downside, the card is only available in 3 currencies. This means that transactions in all the other accepted currencies will always be subject to currency conversion fees.
