Casino Rama

Casino Rama first opened its doors on July 31st 1996 and is now operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s Ontario’s only First Nations commercial casino, operated by Penn National Gaming. Rama is the largest single site operator of Aboriginal people in Canada and is managed under OLG gaming. You can find Casino Rama located on the scenic Lake Couchiching, near the city of Orillia and 1.5 hours north of Toronto.

Gaming

At 192,000 sq ft. you can find whatever it is you’re looking for. There are more than 2500 slots and 110 table games. Take a shot at one of the Mighty Millionaire slots for your chance to bring home a million bucks. Slots here range in denomination and there are video, classic and progressives. Hotel/Accommodations

Stay at the Casino Rama Hotel and Spa, with its deluxe suites, 300 in total, and choice of double or king sized beds. Rooms have a living area, gas fireplace, flat screen tv and additional seating. Club deluxe suites include concierge lounge and private elevator. Club premium suites feature a Jacuzzi tub, internet and in room safe. Visit the spa for massages, facials and pedicures. Weirs Restaurant: open 24 hours and providing a sit-down service for such menu items as skillets, cheeseburgers and fish and chips. St. Germain’s Steakhouse: Serving only AAA Alberta beef, look for menu items like rib-eye, tenderloin, strip loin and porterhouse cuts. Seafood options include fresh lobster, sea bass and salmon. Complement your meal with a selection from their extensive wine list and finish if off with one of eight unique desserts. The Willow: Menu items include spicy shrimp and Peking duck. Try one of 15 different soups and more than 75 traditional Cantonese dishes. Order from the menu or sample from the buffet. Couchiching Court: All you can eat buffet serving up meats, salads, pastas and desserts. Check out each of their several serving stations. Firestarter Lounge: Off the hotel lobby, dine by the fireplace in comfy leather chairs. Noodle Bar: Noodle bowls and create your own soups. Quick tastes Cantonese-style. Cedar Restaurant: Entrée sized salads and tasty appetizers, short ribs and succulent salmon. Lombardi’s: Terrace seating and classic Italian dishes. Legend’s Food Court: quick snacks, coffee and drinks; something fast before returning to the action.

Casino Rama has a 5000 seat entertainment centre hosting big names like Jerry Seinfeld, Diana Ross, Chicago and Carrie Underwood and shows like Cirque De Soleil and Monkey King.
