Cairo, largest and capital city of Egypt, is home to the only remaining monuments of the seven wonders of the ancient world. People come to see the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx and to explore an ancient and proud culture. There’s plenty to do and see. For religious sites, check out the Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha and the Al Azhar Mosque as well as the Hanging Church (the Church of the Virgin Mary). For museums try the Egyptian Museum (the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities) or the Coptic Museum. For parks, head over to Al Azhar Park, overlooking the Citadel, Genenet El Asmak (Garden of the Fish) or Hadiqat Al Orman (the Al Orman Gardens). For shopping, stroll through Khan El Khalily. If you have the kids, be sure to swing by the Giza Zoo.

The casino is rather light in its game offerings, however, when a bit of R and R and time out from the sun is in order, pop in and try your luck. There’s 10 slots and video poker machines and 5 table games including blackjack, Movenpick 5 cards, and American roulette.

The hotel has 360 rooms coming in superior, deluxe, jr suite, and a diplomatic suite. The villa has an additional 2 royal suites. All rooms come equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet and LCD tvs. Amenities include a health club, spa, and pool with restaurants on site. And by the way, when we say swimming pool, read: oasis! The Giza pyramids and Sphinx are a car or cab fare away, however, the amusement park Magic Land is relatively close. Ask the casino about booking tours and lesser-known attractions in the area. Be brave and opt for a camel over a cab.

Le Gourmet Shop serves international cuisine, either dine-in or take away. For Italian fare like pizza and pastas, choose La Terazza. When out touring the city, use the opportunity to find your own quaint eatery serving authentic Egyptian cuisine. Talk to casino and hotel staff for recommendations on local popular venues.

Find your favourite cocktails in the Lobby Bar or find your new favourite bar or nightclub downtown. Spend some shopping in the markets and bazaars like Khan El Khalily. Haggle yourself some great souvenirs for yourself and those back home. Book a tour or take a camel ride when visiting the Sphinx or Giza pyramids. Check out the mosques like Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha and the Al Azhar Mosque, the museums such as the Coptic Museum and Egyptian Museum, or parks like El Hadiqa El Dawliya (the International Garden), Genenet El Asmak (Garden of the Fish) with its aquariums or Hadiqat Al Orman. Stroll through the Pharaonic Village or take the kids to the Giza Zoo. For architecture, try Abdeen Palace or the Cairo towers.

The casino does not have any player rewards systems in place. Speak to a representative about any potential contests or promotions during your stay.
