Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel and Casino

If you’re visiting the Green City in the Sun (Nairobi) pop over to the Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel & Casino for a bit of light gaming before heading back out into the city. Attractions/NightLife

If you’ve happened to bring the kids, be sure to check out the Masai Mara nature reserve as well as the Nairobi National Park. Bring your camera and mug with lions and black rhinos or over 400 species of birds. Try the Nairobi Safari Walk while there. If you prefer museums there’s the Karen Blixen and the Nairobi Gallery as well as the Nairobi National Museum, largest in the city. Spend an afternoon ice skating at the Solar Ice Rink. Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya can be seen off in the distance and Mount Longonot with its dormant volcano is about 100 km away. For theatre there’s the Nairobi National Theatre and for shopping try Westgate Shopping Mall. If you just want to get out for drinks and dancing there’s the Black Diamond.
