Greek Mythology Casino - New Century Hotel

Guests of New Century Hotel are in for around the clock entertainment with the casino and Slots hall but there isn’t much around the location. Although the hotel boasts 5-star entertainment and leisure on the island of Taipa, the website needs some work and is a good indication of what you expect. You’ll experience beautiful views of the Pearl River and the hotel lobby is a sight to see.

Gaming

The casino features nearly 100 Slot Games with a variety themes and denominations but overall, this is a highroller’s casino. Table Games include Baccarat, Blackjack, Sic Bo and a few others. Table limits tend to be higher than most players are used to. Games are offered on several floors but the main floor is where you’ll find all the Slots, other electronic games and a selection of tables.

Hotel/Accommodations

The hotel features 554 rooms including 19 suites. For the most part, all the rooms need an update. Not only is the décor out of date but it’s not necessarily the cleanest. Upgrading to the best suite won’t do any good since that probably has the worst décor of all the rooms. Even if you are a smoker, you’ll be turned off by the discoloration etc. If you’ve read any of the guest reviews on this place, you’ll run the other way. There are way too many quality hotels in Macau to spend your time here.

Dining

In addition to room service, there are four restaurants to choose from. Overall, the food is one of the pluses. You’ll find a unique range of authentic Chinese food. The first floor is home to the Veranda Coffee House, open 24 hours. Enjoy coffee, tea or international dishes. Visitors will also find the New Century Chinese Restaurant on the first floor with hours from 8am to 11pm. Light snacks are served in the Waterfall Garden Tea House. Hours vary based on the time of year, summer hours are from 7am to 9pm and winter hours are from 9am to 6pm. Caesar Terrace is open daily from 6pm to 11pm and is located on the 2nd floor. The dishes include a range of seafood and grills. The restaurant also has three private rooms available for groups of up to twelve.

Entertainment/Nightlife

You’ll find a link to the entertainment on the website but it’s broken. Unfortunately, there really is no entertainment here other than the gaming. You will have to venture out to find shows, nightlife etc.

The casino does not offer a rewards or loyalty program for players at this time.
