Located on Martinique’s west coast at the mouth of the Madame River, is Fort-de-France. If historical sites are your cup of tea, while in the area, you should check out Fort Saint Louis, Fort Gerbault, Fort Tartenson and Fort DeSaix. When looking to take in the indigenous flora, there’s the botanical garden Jardin de Balata, and for religious sites, try the Sacre-Coeur de Balata Church or the Fort-de-France Cathedral. Martinique is also famous of course, for the beaches and beach activities. Try snorkelling, diving and deep-sea fishing to name a few. There's also plenty of shops in the area for souvenir-hunting, as well as bars and restaurants to round out your days.

The casino offers 140 classic and video slot machines and video poker terminals plus an additional 6 table games which include the likes of blackjack, Caribbean stud poker and American roulette. After days at the ocean, or checking out the various attractions throughout the city, head into the casino for a session of gambling. Slots here begin at 10 am while table games open at 8 pm. The casino closes its doors at 3 am and 4 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Look for live entertainment on weekends. A bar can also be found on site.

The Hotel la Bateliere offers 193 rooms in junior suite, senior suite, and standard rooms, coming equipped with air conditioning and tv and balconies with either sea or garden view. For business guests there’s 600 sq m of meeting space. Facilities on site include a restaurant, piano bar, pool, gym, private beach and tennis courts. While here, be sure to spend some time talking to staff about information on all the local attractions and the best bars and restaurants in the area to frequent.

For Creole cuisine, there’s Le Club Seven, open noon until 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm until midnight. Ask about their themed dinner nights. More Creole dishes are found over in Le Bleu Marine, where diners can enjoy their meals on the terrace, overlooking the ocean. Caribbean-inspired fare is found in Le Lili’s Lounge-Bar and Restaurant. Walk around town finding other venues dishing up Creole and French cuisine. Ask casino staff to point you in the right direction.

Enjoy drinks in Le Blue Marine, Le West Indies or Le Lili’s Lounge-Bar and Restaurant. Spend days ocean-side and take part in any number of water activities like snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving, sailing, deep-sea fishing and sailing or just lie back and catch some rays. For historical interest check out one of the several forts like Fort Saint Louis, Fort Gerbault, Fort Desaix or Fort Tartenson. View some of the indigenous flora in the botanical garden Jardin de Balata or La Savanne also with a monument to Empress Josephine. If you’re looking for architecture and religious sites, try the Fort-de-France Cathedral or the Sacre-Coeur de Balata Church. Other local areas of interest include the Schoelcher Library. If you feel like sticking close to ‘home’, hang pool-side or take in a set of tennis back at the hotel.

The casino does not have a player rewards system in place. Be sure to ask a casino representative about any possible contests or promotions that they might be running.
