Look for theatre and arthouse films in the Casa de la Culture de Nuevo Leon. Over in the Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey, you can check out the Sierra Madre Oriental Mountains (good for trail hiking and mountain climbing) and the Parque Ecologico Chipinque. Just outside the city, there’s also the La Estanzuela State Park and the El Potrero Chico Climbing Area.
