The Millionaire's Club & Casino - Kathmandu

Many may be familiar with the Shangri La Casino in Kathmandu, Nepal, which closed down in 2011. Millionaire’s Club and Casino serves as a new and improved, re-launch of sorts, combining once again with the Shangri La Hotel. This new casino is a joint project between Silver Heritage Ltd of Hong Kong, and a Nepali company. Kathmandu serves as the largest city in Nepal, and is home to many iconic attractions. If you happen to be visiting this ancient city, be sure to pay a visit to the Boudhanath, an elaborate structure containing Buddhist relics, Swayambhunath, an ancient religious complex that sits atop a hill in Kathmandu Valley, and Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple. While the city is filled with religious structures, some secular points of interest include Langtang National Park, containing breathtaking views of the Himalayas, and the National Museum of Nepal. Inside the Millionaire’s Club & Casino, opened in spring of 2015, there are both Slots and Table Games available in a quaint setting. Saffron, the second option on site, is dedicated purely to Indian cuisine, including Tandoori. Finally, The Lost Horizon Bar offers light fare and snacks.

Entertainment/Nightlife

If you’re looking for a spot to unwind and enjoy a few cocktails, The Lost Horizon Bar is the place to go. It provides a full-service bar with plenty of options, and serves as a great space to begin or end your night.
