Famous Bonanza

Famous Bonanza casino originally opened on January 17, 1992. It’s been around for a while and shows no signs of going anywhere! It’s located in downtown Central City, Colorado inside a gorgeous antique building and is one of the older casinos in town. It’s a family owned facility, which means you can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere that will have you feeling right at home. The owners actually live in town, which means they keep their business close and are highly involved with ensuring that it runs smoothly. Also, they run the Easy Street Casino which is located just across the street. It’s a little on the smaller side, but it actually works as an advantage, making it extremely cozy. It’s much less chaotic and overwhelming than some of the larger casinos you may have visited in the past. It’s loaded with lots of exciting games that you will be sure to enjoy. The hours of operation include Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 2am and Friday and Saturday from 8am to 3am.

There is no hotel on the property; however, there are many options nearby if you are looking to stay the night. Central City is filled with many gaming spaces, so it is only natural that there are plenty of accommodations within a short distance from them. A few to look out for if you are planning on visiting Bonanza, include Century Hotel and Casino, Skye Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Reserve Casino Hotel and Hooper Homestead Guest Quarter.

Dining

One restaurant is available within the casino and is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Stella’s is open from 6pm to 12am on Friday, 12pm to 12am on Saturday and from 12pm to 10pm on Sunday. It is located upstairs from the casino and they serve a wide selection of delicious foods. Choose from burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and more. The atmosphere is comfortable, the servers are friendly and the food is affordable.

Entertainment/Nightlife

As far as entertainment, you’re not going to find much else aside from their gaming space. There are many games to choose from, along with fabulous Jackpots, plus a scrumptious restaurant. However, if you’re looking for live entertainment and possibly some cocktails, you might want to check out your surroundings.
