The two of these casinos first opened on the same day in April of 1999. They are technically two separate buildings, but they are sister casinos located right next to each other. Each of them is similarly designed. The décor is elegant, with a Victorian-style spin. Gold Rush is the larger of the two, offering over three times the games. Gold Digger’s is a bit smaller, yet together they become one big superpower! You’ll have access to a number of games and promotions to look forward to on a daily basis. Gold Rush offer rooms on the upper level of the property. There is one restaurant between the two and plenty of parking space available.

Gaming

The Gold Rush is complete with 299 Slots and Video Poker machines. You will also find four live Blackjack tables in their Blackjack Pit as well as a Poker table. Gold Digger's has the smaller gaming space with a total of 85 Slot machines and Video Poker terminals. You will be able to play all your favorite games like nickel Wheel of Fortune and Aristocrat, two and ten cent Slots, Video Poker, and Progressive nickel Slots. Hotel Accommodations

On the upper level of Gold Rush, they have accommodations for guests, which also stay along the lines of the Victorian theme. It’s on the smaller side, but highly affordable. All the necessary amenities are provided. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of free parking nearby, so that doesn’t need to be an area of concern for guests. It’s all about convenience.

Dining

There is one restaurant on the property and it’s located on the main floor. The prices are very reasonable. The Grapevine Restaurant serves classic American dishes and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast runs from 8am to 11am, lunch from 11am to 4pm and dinner from 4pm to 10pm. This schedule is for Sunday through Thursday. The weekends are a bit different. They are open until midnight on Saturday and Sunday. For breakfast, you can choose from a list of items like steak and eggs, french toast, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and lots more. The coffee they serve guests is Starbucks brand and they also serve an assortment of pastries. On the menu for lunch and dinner, you can choose from a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, steaks, ribs, burgers, seafood and their daily special.

Entertainment/Nightlife

They don’t offer a whole lot when it comes to nightlife or entertainment. They basically offer the gaming that’s within the casino, a bit of dining and nothing more. However, directly behind the Gold Rush is the Palladium Amphitheater, an outdoor concert and entertainment venue. It’s not affiliated with the casino but this does provide the possibility of catching some live entertainment during your stay. Simply check out their schedule and see what events may be taking place during your visit. In addition, the city of Cripple Creek has many other casinos. If you don’t mind an adventure, you can definitely take a look around and see what the others have to offer. You’re sure to find some cocktails!
