Mary and Moe's Wigwam

Mary & Moe's Wigwam is a small restaurant and casino located in Fernley, Nevada. This location is also home to the Wigwam Museum which is a small museum consisting of Indian artifacts and things of that nature. This establishment can be found in a dark brick building with a brown roof, if not for the prominent sign in front saying, "We Have It All," and advertising the name, it would be difficult to tell what the building is, it probably looks more like a general store than anything else. Fernley is located in the Northern part of Nevada and has a population just under 20,000, this establishment is typically a place that locals frequent, but occasionally, you'll have people passing through the area who will stop by primarily for the restaurant. The City of Fernley's population has more than doubled in the last fifteen years, which is thanks to an industrial park built in 1999 for Amazon.com. Other companies have since built operations in said park, including, Allied Signal, UPS, Sherwin Williams and others. Given the considerable population growth, while Fernley does not have a large casino at this time, it's not impossible to imagine one may go up in the future.

Gaming

The gaming operations for Mary & Moe's Wigwam consist of seventy machines which are a combination of slots, video keno and video poker. The majority of these machines can be found on the main gaming floor along with some bartop machines at the bar. The gaming operations take place 24/7/365. Given the limited number of machines, you might not find the most up-to-date slots here, but if you are an enthusiast, you're certain to run into some old favorites. There are no table games.

Hotel/Accommodations

While Mary & Moe's Wigwam does not operate a hotel, there are a few hotel choices in the City of Fernley. For starters, it is located right beside an independent hotel known as the Lazy Inn. If you would prefer a chain hotel, Fernley has a few of those, as well. They include Comfort Suites, Best Western and Super 8.

Dining

Mary & Moe's Wigwam operates a restaurant under the same name. It consists of American-style food and the hours are from 5a-9p daily, all three meals are served during all operating hours.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Unfortunately, Mary & Moe's Wigwam doesn't have much in the way of entertainment options, aside from the machines. This is the case with the majority of Fernley, NV which doesn't have a terribly active nightlife. And while Fernley has a Fremont Street, that, 'experience,' consists mainly of a church and a Subway. If you're looking for something to do during the day, however, Fernley has a large park, walking and bike trail, and a skate center.
