Silverado Casino is all about Jake the Snake. The cowboy hat wearing snake is everywhere from the restaurant to the casino. This isn’t the largest casino but it’s a great gaming spot with some of the latest slot games available if you’re in the Fernley area. The entertainment is just plain fun and sums up the entire place. If you’re passing through, there’s even a gas station and touchless car wash on the property. If it’s popular among the locals, that’s a good sign for visitors.

Gaming

The casino has worked out a deal with gaming software provider, IGT. They feature the latest slots in their casino before any other casino in the Fernley area. Any time you see a symbol that reads “Jake the Snake Play’em First”, you can proceed with confidence that you are one of the select few players to get their hands on that IGT machine. Dining

All the gambling and entertainment at the casino can sure work up an appetite. Where can you pop a squat and grab a decent meal? Jack’s Restaurant serves up a range of culinary specialties fit for the hungry gambler. The food is cheap and does the job. Specials include burgers for under 5 bucks and senior breakfast for less than $3. They also boast an award winning soup and salad bar. The restaurant welcomes guests and their families in a cozy atmosphere.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The place to be for entertainment at Silverado is Jake’s Lounge. Sing your hearts out during Karaoke held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 7pm until the place closes. Friday’s and Saturday’s take you on a trip down memory lane with flower power, bell bottoms and big hair with music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Don’t forget your dancing shoes as the dance floor is open from 7pm until closing time.
