If you want to travel to Reno and not be hassled with traffic or worries about where to park, then this is an ideal home base. This establishment features a pool, fitness center, hot tub, on-site restaurant, available room service and meeting space with state-of-the-art A/V equipment. The fitness center and spa is equipped with a steam room and operating hours convenient for anyone from 6:00a-10:00p. Additionally, it has a restaurant as well as a separate bar and coffee shop.

This establishment features a total of forty-seven slot machines encompassing slots, Video Poker and Video Keno. Unfortunately, the time to play these is rather limited as they are mainly bartop machines in the Plaza Court restaurant (which opens at 4:00p daily and stays open until 9:00p-10:00p) or at the Crosswinds Lounge which, "Usually," opens around 5:00p and also stays open for four or five hours. As a result, it is difficult to recommend this location for anyone seeking a place to stay with a full-on gaming experience, but if your principle concerns are comfort and convenience (with respect to the airport) then it is hard to do better than the Best Western Airport Plaza Hotel. However, if you don't mind taking a complimentary shuttle to nearby casinos, this hotel offers 24-hour service to the Grand Sierra Resort and Peppermill Casino.
