Scoreboard Casino

Scoreboard Casino, which is one of the casinos owned by the Northern Star Casino Company, is an all-around pretty cool place to game, drink, or just hang out. Unlike most mid-sized casinos with a similar amount of machines, this casino tends to put a focus on non-gaming as well as gaming activities. For example, the area around the bar, as oppose to the main gaming floor, is something of a sports bar/pub type feel. There are a number of pool tables and dartboards here and there in that general area as well as a jukebox and a shuffleboard game. In addition to that, the main bar area is surrounded by nearly ten big screen HDTV's. The establishment has a laid-back overall vibe, and for the most part, you'll find that it is frequented by the pleasant locals of Spring Creek, Nevada. The service is also as friendly as the locals making this a great place to stop in for a drink and a little bit of gaming.

Gaming

Scoreboard Casino features a total of about seventy of the hottest and newest slot machines as well as classic Video Poker and Video Keno games. Fortunately, this is a relatively busy casino, which gives them both the ability and the motivation to keep their slot selection as current as possible. In addition to the slot machines, this casino is also home to a William Hill Sports Book location, after making your bet, the main bar is perfect for having a seat and relaxing while enjoying the wide range of well-prepared beverages and some bartop video poker.

Hotel/Accommodations

Unfortunately, neither Scoreboard Casino nor the greater region of Spring Creek has much in the way of hotel accommodations. For that, you'll need to travel about twenty miles to nearby Elko where a variety of chain hotels, including a Super 8, can be found.

Dining

At one time, the Scoreboard Casino operated Scoreboard Restaurant. Unfortunately, that has since closed, and at the time of this writing, they had no plans to reopen the restaurant due to a lack of restaurant business.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Other than holidays and a few special events, this is probably not the ideal destination for you if you are looking for live entertainment. However, with the jukebox, gaming and wide variety of sports bar type activities, there's certainly not a complete lack of anything to do.

Scoreboard Casino is a participant in the Player's Choice Players Club which is a shared players club amongst the Northern Star Casino group. They have been known to have a wide variety of promotions as well as to send players free play in their monthly mailers. Points are also earned which can be used for comps or free play, free play at this location, since there really isn't anything to comp.
