Red Garter Hotel and Casino

The hotel and casino is located in West Wendover and offers players just the basics. There are mixed reviews on this place but it doesn’t boast a luxurious experience and accommodations. Red Garter offers casino gaming on a smaller scale with modest rooms at reasonable prices.

Gaming

The casino houses more than 500 Slot machines featuring ticket-in, ticket-out technology. A variety of denominations are available from one cent machines up to $5. Guests will find a wide range of games from several software providers. Table Games are available and include Blackjack with Royal Match, Roulette, Craps and Three Card Poker with big screen TV’s above the tables. The Sports Bar offers guests satellite Keno games from the Wendover Nugget where players may play a maximum of 1,000 games at a time. Keno LCD’s are displayed around the casino for players to track their games. The Sports Book makes placing a bet easy with automated kiosks.

Hotel/Accommodations

The hotel offers simple rooms at decent prices. There are just 180 rooms and suites available. Choose from a standard room, mini suite or Jacuzzi suite. Standard rooms offer king or queen beds, cable television, free Wi-Fi and coffee maker. The Mini suite offers a king sized bed, sleeper, 42” LCB TV with cable, free Wi-Fi and coffee maker. The Jacuzzi suite offers the same amenities as the mini suite plus a bar, refrigerator and Jacuzzi. Reservations may be made online directly on the casino’s website.

Dining

The Prospector Cafe offers a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals have a home cooked quality and are served 24 hours every day. For a bite you can grab on the go try Silverado Snacks. The menu offers assorted snacks including hot dogs, sandwiches, nachos, a range of soups and more.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There are two bars on the property. The Sports Bar offers guests a place to relax with a drink in hand and watch sports on five 55” televisions and two large projection TV’s. They are open around the clock 7 days per week. Next up is the Stage Bar. You’ll find live entertainment as well as TV’s scattered around the room. See live bands and grab a cocktail. The bar serves special drinks on the weekends after 3pm.

Sign up to Club Garter when you arrive aand begin earning rewards right away. Points are accumulated as you play Slots, Video Poker, Tables Games and Keno. Points are redeemed at the gift shop and may be used toward merchandise, drinks, cigarettes and more. Members receive invitations to special events, receive priority hotel reservations and coupons. Your status is reviewed quarterly.
