Bob’s Bowling Bonanza is a five reel, thirty payline slot produced by Microgaming. Gameplay benefits from wilds, a perfect game bonus and a 5,000 coin jackpot. Users can place multiple bets per line starting at just 1 penny per spin.
Bob’s Bowling Bonanza Theme
Bob’s Bowling Bonanza is plastered across the top of the reel casing in 1950s inspired typescript. The designers have converted the O into a bowling ball and the I into a bowling pin to match the theme. They’ve also placed a bowling lane graphic at the bottom of the slot and used a plank effect behind the reels.
Bob is joined by Babs, trophies, bowling shoes, bowling balls, pins, A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 icons on the reels. The animation offered isn’t anything to write home about but does serve the function of clearly marking each winning combination.
The sound effects are okay, but not great. The same can be said of the music which doesn’t match the rock and roll stereotype of ten pin bowling. Thankfully a mute button has been included within the option menu.
Betting Options and More Functions
Coin values only span between 0.01 and 0.25 which taken at face value doesn’t sound great. Throw in the fact that 20 coins can be placed on each line and that there are 30 lines and you have a mighty impressive range of 0.01 to $150. This ensures all styles of player can setup the slot exactly how they want it.
All wins can be doubled or even quadrupled up to $2,500 by guessing the correct colour or suit respectively. All wins below this value are eligible and cause the gamble button to flash intermittently which leaves you the choice of gambling your win or pressing on with spins.
Bob’s Bowling Bonanza Slot Features
The strike symbol can sub for other icons when creating winning combinations. It only appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 though and when this happens in unison triggers the perfect game bonus round.
During the bonus game bowling balls are hurled down each of the lanes with every pin counting as a multiplier to your line bet. The round isn’t that impressive visually but has the potential to pay well if you strike it lucky, literally! Our Take on Bob’s Bowling Bonanza
This one will divide opinion between those who think it could be better and those who appreciate the less is more approach. If you like fun slots which aren’t feature heavy that this one is for you.

" Jachri wrote: thank for the reply, Amaziah! well, I can agree with you to a certain extents, but generally I like bonuses. it's will be great to hear some details about your attitude to bonuses, why don't you like it? do you think that there's no such thing as a free lunch? thankq Hello Jachri* I don't like bonuses in general for the simple reason, they have wagering requirements attached. That's all** Other then that, I think they are awesome. Buut, if you want to play Dead or Alive or Immortal Romance or any other high variance game, bonus can help a lot because you need cash in order to play couple of hundred if not thousand spins. As for me, I like staying away from bonuses but I claimed some in the past. If I see w.r. of x 15, then I could claim bonus :) "READ
