Top Cryptologic Gaming Casinos

Cubis is a multi reel slot crossed with a puzzle, it offers 15 pay lines and an impressive $200,000 jackpot. Cryptologic certainly knows how to turn an original game into a slot and have really done Cubis justice with a themed layout and features to match.

Cubis Slot Theme

As you’d expect the Cubis slot takes on a similar form to the original online game, in the original game cubes are placed along either side of the board to try to make combinations of three or more colored cubes. Once this has been achieved the cubes would disappear, awarding the player with points.

The slot loads multiple lines, both horizontally and vertically, if a winning combination is formed a prize is awarded and the blocks disappear and are replaced in a similar fashion to the game. However, if there is not a winning combination the entire board is cleared and replaced with a new set of cubes.

The slot features multiple backgrounds and the same sound effects as the original game, if you liked the game then you’ll feel right at home with this slot. Even seasoned slots players will like Cubis, it’s nice for a change but can get a little tiresome after prolonged play.

Bets range from 1c to $20 per line, which can be further altered by adjusting the number of lines between 1 and 15 (although it’s better to just change the bet value). This makes it suitable for gamblers playing for fun or ones seeking larger gains (or losses).

Cubis Slots Features

The grey dice is both a multiplier and a wild card, it substitutes for all other symbols and multiplies the line stake by whatever number is shown on that particular dice. There are also three types of ‘bomb’ cube which massively increase wins when they drop in (the reels don’t spin on this slot).

The ‘Square bomb’ blows up 25 cubes with the same face, the line bomb spreads fire in 4 directions to destroy all cubes in its wake and the ‘nuclear bomb’ wipes out the entire board. Each time a bomb removes a set of cubes they are immediately replaced with new ones which further increases your chances of winning.

Crypto have missed a trick by not including a ‘traditional’ bonus round, the trio of bombs goes some way to replace this but we’d much rather of had the opportunity to play a game of cubis for monetary reward.

Despite this we feel the Cubis slot does stick with the original game and it does offer a whopping jackpot, this is a good enough excuse to give it a go in our opinion.

An extraordinarily cute, interesting-looking, entertaining-looking game that I am just not really getting where it's going. It seems so difficult and obscure to get any of these itty-bitty coloured cubes to match up. Then something shakes, or a puff of smoke or whatever, and then a bunch more cubes rush in that are also impossibly varied. I doubt that it's over my head; I think this particular format isn't suited to being a slot game. Cheers.

This is a great looking game, especially with the vines all around it, the plant vine. I have played this game many a times, but have never been lucky. I tried it at different bets and it just never paid me well, which I have found happens for me with some games. I am lucky at some games all the time, here... no luck. I may try it again. I just want to comment that it is very unique and I wish I was lucky at it because it is really a beautiful looking game, looks very futuristic to me.

I know I sound a bit ingratiating, but I must say that wscalley's comment is excellent. It woud be an excellent idea to submit, if the opportunity arises. I found I played for a while then this comment board came up and I really haven't seen all the features yet, but, overall as a concept for a visual, and that puzzling-gaming thing, as previously stated, it's a solid four that, I agree, could be a five. One of the prettiest, most puzzly-gamey-looking basic slot (not theatrical) that I've seen.I know I will love the look of it in full screen mode and I can't wait to get it onto it. For the moment, four stars. Cheers.

Oh wow, playing this kinda hurt my head to begin with but I quickly became hooked and continued playing on just to watch the blocks come down and try and spot the lines before they were removed from the cube.. sounds kinda silly i know but I'm a former recovering puzzle game fiend so this really appealed to that side of me :) Watch out for the various multiplier dice and bomb blocks which mix things up nicely, and cross your fingers you can get a super combination of ten in a row - this pays up to 4000 coins for the diamond block. Theres a lot of potential in this idea and I hope someday there might be another game that takes this whole concept a little further, perhaps with some interaction from the player ? That would really kick butt

This is very fun game and doesn't cost lot to play. I've had several good wins on it and it's nice change to ordinary slots. I found that the bonus features like bombs etc. are pretty poor but the base game is good. 3/5 stars.
