Deep Blue is an underwater inspired video slot from Viaden Gaming, a specialist outfit which is known for good value slots. Not only does this one offer great value but also includes wild graphics, free spins, scatters and the chance to win 9,000 coins in one fell swoop.

Deep Blue Slot Theme

As you’d expect this slot is set underwater and as such benefits from a bespoke reel casing which gives a deep sea atmosphere. The top of the slots background is the surface of the ocean, whilst the bottom is the seabed complete with kelp and bubbles which flow to the surface. The designers have utilized these air bubbles along the fringe of the reels as line markers and the buttons have been given an iron-clad, submarine inspired, look.

Reel icons have also been given a bespoke appearance to fit in with the aquatic theme. They include 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, jellyfish, crab, seahorse, angelfish, dolphin and pearl icons which can appear on any reel.

Other Viaden slots typically offer penny bets whilst this one ups the stakes a little with its 0.10 to £/$/€4.50 betting range. These are setup using lines and bet per line options located beneath the reels.

Deep Blue Slot Features

The Dolphin graphic has dual responsibilities on the Deep Blue Slot. Predominately it is used as a wild symbol, acting as a substitute for all other symbols except the scatter. It doubles any wins it contributes to and pays out prizes with combinations of two or more icons on an active payline. The 9,000 coin jackpot is awarded if five Dolphin icons appear on an active payline.

Deep Blue scatter icons pay out 2, 5, 20 or 500 times your total bet when 2, 3, 4 or 5 icons appear on the reels. It also awards 15 free spins when at least three are present, during these free spins all wins are tripled. This dual function makes scatters much more useful on this slot than many of its competitors.

This is an ideal slot for low to mid stakes gamblers, if you are after a penny slot then you’d be better off considering some of the other Viaden Slots which offer a lower betting range.

Like most Viaden slots, Deep Blue is a very nice looking game - the full screen win announcements are one annoying feature but these can be turned off in all of the real money versions to the best of my knowledge( definitely all the ones I have tried in real money mode). The symbols look great and the user interface is top quality as well. Payouts are above average, with a particularly high base game payoff for the five wilds, and 500x bet for five scatters. 3 or more scatters starts 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier which is obviously where the biggest wins will be scored.

"  Oh, you hear the stories about how dangerous Ouija boards are, but hey—it’s just a game. Mary waited until midnight to begin our little game, and the four of us—Sarah, Jessie, me, and, Mary, started by asking all kinds of silly questions. It was a strange-looking board, covered with letters and symbols. There was a plastic pointer that was supposed to move across the board at the behest of the spirits. The instructions called it a planchette. Around one thirty in the morning, the planchette suddenly froze in Mary’s hand. It wouldn’t move, no matter how much we pushed and pulled. Mary turned her frightened blue eyes toward me. “I’m not doing it,” she said, lifting her hands. I grabbed the planchette myself and tried to push it around, but it was fixed to the board. Suddenly, a kind of electric shock buzzed through my fingers. I gasped and tried to pull my fingers from the planchette, but they were stuck. Mary and Jessie both tried to pull my fingers away, nothing helped. The other girls stared with wide, round eyes, as the planchette came alive under my fingers—which were still fixed to its surface—and began to move. “Help.” The words spelled out under my hand. “Help me. Help me.” The planchette kept moving back and forth between the h – e – l – p continuously, until Sarah cried out: “Who are you?” “Amber.” The board spelled. “My name is Amber. I am eight years old.” “What’s wrong?” Mary asked. Her face was so white all the freckles stood out like darkened age spots. “Water. Danger. Help. Scared.” The words spelled out as fast as my hand could move. “Call 9-1-1,” Mary cried suddenly. “Quick. Amber is in danger.” By this time, Sarah was gasping into the phone. Then she hung up the phone. “They wouldn’t listen to me,” she told us, almost in tears. At that instant, my hand was suddenly free from the planchette. “She’s gone,” I gasped, “See if you can contact her again,” Mary said urgently. “We need to know if she’s okay!” I picked up the plastic planchette again. “Amber, are you there?” I asked softly, afraid of what might happen. After a long pause, it moved slowly across the board and spelled out the words: “Too late.” And after another long pause. “Water. Flood. Drowned. Mobile. Alabama.” The planchette stopped.I knew that Amber was gone. None of us got much sleep that night. In the morning, we rushed through breakfast and then looked up the Alabama news on the Internet. None of us were surprised to read that there had been flash floods the night before. I read the names of those who had died in the flood. One of the victims was an eight-year-old girl named Amber. _____________________ My favorite casino is username is : aymenpronet."

"Hi claralie,  Sorry but I have no idea what's going on with regards to your post. Please send me your username so that I can look into your account. The one thing I do no is that the €40 bonus was meant for active depositing players and the GFF50 bonus for inactive depositing players. It might be that the 40 bonus was sent to you in error, thus the agent offered you the correct 50 free offer. However I require your casino username so that I may investigate further.  RegardsJason"

"Whoa, those are some pretty spooky stories that you share with us, folks. Even better that some of those are your own ones! Plus many thanks for making a step ahead by sharing some tremendous Halloween costume ideas as well. Very inspiring, to say the least. Wishing you all plenty of luck in the contest! Cheers Jack"
