We all believed in fairytales when we were kids. Some of us still do. And some of us love to get back to that careless time, when nothing could get to you except imaginary knights, dragons, princesses, castles, and big battles. Well, all those people can now rejoice, because Chartwell will take them on a wild adventure, a trip into the past, when big, fiery dragons ruled. All this and more can be found in their new release, “Draco’s Fire,” which has much to offer – and not only in terms of graphics.

Speaking of which, this five-reel, 50-payline slot is very colorful and pretty, with dragon’s cave in the background, full of gold, which may become yours with a bit of luck. As for the reels themselves, the graphics are somewhat simpler there, but it doesn’t really spoil the overall authenticity of the slot. In addition, the action on the reels, which includes various dragons (who are sometimes a bit difficult to distinguish from each other), castles, cottages, mountains of fire, dragon’s teeth, etc, is accompanied by excellent sounds, which make the general feel even more genuine.

In terms of money, there’s no need to worry whether “Draco’s Fire” may be too expensive for you due to its 50 lines, because the coin denominations on offer can accommodate any playing preferences you may have. Therefore, you can select an amount from $0.02 to $5, place up to five coins per line, and play on up to 50 lines, all of which provides a range that will satisfy highrollers, as well as lowrollers.

Special Features:

There’s much to be found in “Draco’s Fire” in terms of special symbols and features. First of all, there’s the Wild Dragon symbol, which serves to replace all symbols except Scattered Dragons and Bonus Dragons. It also triggers Flaming Pays when on reels 2 and 4, which pay awards up to 6x payline win.

Then, there’s the Scatter symbol, which appears on reels 1, 3 and 5, and when you get all three at the same time, you’ll find your bet doubled and 10 free spins triggered. The free spins are occasionally very generous, which is their main benefit, along with the fact that they occur quite often. Finally, there’s the Bonus Dragon symbol, which comes stacked and changes into other symbols, except wilds and scatters. Also, when four of them appear on the middle reel, four free spins are triggered, in which the middle reel is held, and after the final spin all four change to a random regular symbol. However, unlike the scatter-triggered feature, these free spins aren’t usually generous, which diminishes otherwise good impression left by the bonus game.

Taking all things into consideration, “Draco’s Fire” has a lot to offer, so its small flaws shouldn’t prevent you from diving into this smokin’ adventure, which will remind you of good, old days and perhaps reward your interest in it with some nice prizes.

I like the graphics, sounds, and the game ingeneral. It seems to lack a separate screen bonus feature.

Draco's Fire has incorporated on it a couple of very interesting features like Flaming Pays and Bonus with heads of dragons, but the game itself is a little disappointing and even tight when features seem not to work on your side most of times and all you can do is see how your balance is going deeper down.

Great potential for good wins here, but the game itself is a bit dull.

I like the look of the game, its not amazingly well drawn but it does all seem to go together well. The four free spins will initially seem quite tight of course but with the stickys, it, can still pay out quite nicely. The 'flaming pay' which triggers when wilds appear on reels 2 and 4 on active payline is another neat touch, it can be quite rare it boosts a decent win but when you do get a 5 of a kind in this way and have it multiplied up to x6 it definitely seems cool :)
