We hate to start with somewhat of a negative but we must say we were struck by a sense of déjà vu when we first saw this slot. It's very similar to another five reel game from Random logic called Euro Reels which makes some sense because they are both football themed. This one does have a different logo, albeit a simple text based one mounted on a red scarf.

Many of the reel icons are football themed and include footballs, spectators, world cups, football stadiums, red/yellow cards, goalies gloves, football boots and an assortment of football shirts. It's great to see a range of countries from around the world have been represented here; England, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal and Spain all have their own shorts as reel icons whilst a paneled football shows various world flags upon it.

Goals of Gold Slot Features

One of the icons features four football spectators standing arm in arm. This icon is wild which enables it to substitute for other regular reel icons if a winning combination is possible.

There's one football icon which has world flags sewn upon it. Three, four or five of these icons will award 15, 30 or 40 free spins when they appear at the same time. These spins play automatically and concurrently so you can just sit back and watch the reels spin, whilst hopefully recording some wins in the process.

You'll get to play the goals for gold's bonus round if three or greater bonus icons appear. This is a sudden death penalty shoot out where each goal will award a cash prize. Our Take on Goals of Gold

This slot is the very similar to Euro Reels; probably too similar to make it standout. There are a good range of features though and if you like football then it's certainly worth a shot (no pun intended).
