Game Review Noughty Crosses

Top Cryptologic Gaming Casinos

Noughty Crosses is a tribal tattoo inspired 5 reel slot from Cryptologic, a brand which seems to offer a slot for all tastes. The slot offers an impressive 243 winning combinations with all 25 paylines being played all of the time. It offers a wild symbol, two free spins features and the chance to win a 1,000 coin jackpot.

Noughty Crosses Slot Theme

The theme isn’t that apparent from the name but is once the slot loads. It draws from tattoo parlors the world over with a tribal design forming the border. The buttons have also been given a bright design with etched lettering and deep black angel wings in the center (holding coin denomination information).

The icons offer a mixture of traditional icons mixed with ones pertaining to the theme of the slot. These include 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, Dragon, X, O, Noughty Crosses and horse shoe symbols. As with other Crypto slots each symbol offers bespoke animation which brings them to life when a winning combination appears.

This is one of the simplest slots to set up because you only have one option to change to alter your bets. The large ‘select dom’ button in the centre selects your preferred coin value from 0.01 to $20 with 30 additional options besides. This creates a very large betting range of 0.01 to $500 which makes it a universal slot which all gamblers can enjoy.

Autospin is another useful feature. Located on the lefthand side, it can be used to select 1 to 999 automatic spins which play using the same settings you have previously input.

Noughty Crosses Slot Features

The flaming dice symbol is a wild symbol and sub for all others apart from the ‘O’ and ‘X’ symbol. It appears frequently, boosting your chances of winning.

When 3 or more O’s or X’s appear in reels 2, 3 and 4 the free spins feature triggers. You receive 5 free spins and a bonus spin if an X or O appears on the first spin.

Noughty Crosses has an original title, an original theme and an original way to earn free spins. It’s easy to understand why it has been such a big hit with gamblers, we certainly enjoyed it.

Noughty Crosses looks very good - top quality presentation and I get the impression this is one of the newer Cryptologic slots, also because I have not come across it in the past and I played Crypto a lot in my earlier days of online gaming. Also the paytable is fairly generous especially at the top end, there are plenty of symbols with chunky payouts especially for the five of a kind wins. Triggering the feature relies on getting a line of noughts or crosses on the 3 centre reels, which isn't as tough as I first imagined, but sadly only awards five free spins :(

"I just started using bitcoin myself. I buy bitcoin using my checking account thru Coinbase. It takes a little longer than using a debit/credit card but if I understand it correctly the fees are lower that way. Then I transfer bitcoin to my wallet at Blockchain before depositing at an online casino. I made two deposits at Slotastic! and one at Slotocash and each time the money was there immediately. The only problem I had was on my first deposit I did not account for the conversion difference when making a minimum amount deposit and my bonus did not get triggered automatically. I got it soon worked out though when I contacted support thru Live Chat and explained the mistake was caused by my first time using bitcoin. They credited my account with the bonus and just suggested I add a little more next time to cover the additional fees and conversion rate differences. I didn't do too good at Slotocash but did much better at Slotastic! and even though I made my deposit using bitcoin there was a message on the Withdraw screen saying I had to send in their Credit Card Authorization Agreement before I could make a withdrawal. I contacted Live Support to clarify and they advised I only had to send in a copy of my drivers license and a recent utility bill to verify my identity not my credit card. After I emailed these documents I received an email the next day advising my documents had been received and approved. I then submitted my withdrawal request and expected an immediate response just like I got on my deposit but it didn't happen. That's been about 7 hours ago now so I'm guessing it might be a day or two at least if I'm lucky before anything happens. But if it happens then that'll be much better than having to wait weeks or months like some have to. I'll update later when the withdrawal is finally completed."
