Pharaoh's Tomb

Egyptian-themed slots have become a cliche in the world of online gambling. Something many of us online punters tend to avoid due to their repetitiveness and the abundance of other, less exploited themes. But it’s wrong to keep any prejudices, and knowing this, I went to Sheriff Gaming’s progressive slots suit and decided to give a chance to the only title I otherwise wouldn’t even remotely consider to play - “Pharaoh’s Tomb”. And I can tell you one thing - lose any prejudice before playing online slots, because you never know which title has been blessed by Lady Luck herself!

“Pharaoh’s Tomb” Characteristics

This Sheriff Gaming progressive slot is one of the titles you’ll love from the moment you see it, even if you’ve already played tons of Egyptian slots. It’s got five reels, 20 paylines and authentic 3D graphics and sounds (when pressed, the spin button releases a tomb opening-like sound) throughout. The game is introduced by a gorgeous Cleopatra look-alike, who both stands next to the slot machine, watching what’s going on, and appears as a bonus symbol in the game. Other special features you’ll enjoy in “Pharaoh’s Tomb” include wilds, scorpion scatters, double-up feature and free spins during which two other symbols turn into scatters.

One mustn’t forget the progressive jackpot, either. It will be triggered by five pyramid symbols, but only when they’re not helped by the wild symbol. If a wild takes part in the combination, five pyramids will award 800 coins.

Now, speaking of coins, the ones offered by this slot include amounts from 1 cent to $1. On 20 paylines, and with the option which allows placing up to 5 coins per payline, the range is perfect for all types of players.

Special Features

While this is a very advanced slot in terms of graphics, its special features are pretty basic.

The most common one you’ll get is the pharaoh wild, which emerges on reels 2, 3, and 4 and replaces other regular symbols, including the progressive jackpot symbol. Another symbol which kept its basic function is the scatter, which just pays any and does not award any bonuses, etc.

However, things are spiced up a bit by the Cleo symbol, which awards 5, 10 or 20 retriggerable free spins whenever three, four or five of them appear anywhere. What’s excellent about this feature is that it offers boosted payouts for all poker symbols, and that all the animated symbols work as scatters, paying any.

Finally, all the prizes can be staked once again in the Double-Up feature in which beautiful Cleopatra will toss a coin for you. You can guess up to 10 times, which is enough to bring a significant boost to your bet if you get that lucky.

All things concerned, “Pharaoh’s Tomb” is an excellent-looking title, with which you won’t feel bored at any point. As a bonus, Egyptian pyramids may make you feel like you’re under the influence of Fata Morgana; only, if you really see five of them, it will be dollars falling on you, not desert rain.
