Aces & Eights is one in a myriad of poker based games from MultiSlot; don’t be confused though as this most certainly is poker and not a video slot! Players use a single hand at a time and must use their skills to create a hand containing at least a pair of Jacks.
How to play Aces & Eights Video Poker
Aces & Eights begins in much the same way as other video poker games; with the setting of bets. This is easy as it gets as you choose a coin value using the plus and minus buttons. You can even opt to wager multiple coins by pressing the ‘BET ONE’ button; this selects 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coins and highlights the potential prizes on the pay table.
The second step is to place your bets by pressing deal. This sees 5 initial cards land on the screen in front of you. This is the point where you must decide which cards to keep and which cards to throw away. Press draw to replace any discarded cards and you’ll end up with your final hand on which any prizes will be paid.
The lowest paying hand triggers with a pair of Jacks (max 5:1). More interesting winning hands include four sevens, aces or eights (up to 400:1) and the prized Royal Flush (4000:1).
