Caribbean Stud Poker is an online, aka video poker, game that has been ripped up and repackaged by almost all the major gaming brands. This version is from Amaya and includes a clever side bet that could net players a hefty progressive jackpot.
How to play Caribbean Stud Poker
Caribbean Stud Poker has a set of betting chips in much the same way as other casino games. You can choose your bet from these chips by clicking on them and then clicking on the ante treasure chest position on the table. If you’d like to try and win the progressive jackpot you must also place a side bet on the circular graphic at this time.
The game starts after you’ve pressed the deal button. This issues 5 cards that show in a zoomed position before shuffling into the best hand and come to a rest on the table. It's at this point you take the decision on whether to fold or play your hand. If you decide to play it'll cost you another bet equal to your ante. You'll then see if you've won and any prizes are paid based on a predefined set of odds (stronger hands pay more).
If you decide to place the side bet the chance to win the progressive pots opens up. To win 100% of this you'll need a Royal Flush, although smaller percentages can be won with other hands (the jackpot table is on the left).
