Casino War is one of the oldest and beloved table games. It's simplicity and it's cool name make it popular with seasoned gamblers and newbies alike. Who knew a childhood game could be so appealing?
How to Play Casino War
The game essentially a high card draw, where the dealer and player each draw a card and the one with the highest value card wins. There are a few instances where you will need to make a decision on whether to go to War, and it's at that point where things get interesting.
A draw prompts the chance to either take back half your stake and go home or double your stake to go to war. This draws two new cards; one for you and one for the dealer, where the highest card takes home the pot.
Casino War also includes the option to place a side bet. This bet returns 10:1 if the outcome is a draw, which isn't unusual but is still a nice inclusion. It's also worth remembering that each game is played with six decks of cards that are shuffled together. This keeps things random and less predictable, which could be seen as a positive or negative point.
