How to play Color Champion

Color Champion is an interesting poker game that includes thrilling double up bonuses and an additional side bonus called ‘Fever Bonus’. Prizes range from 1:1 for 3 of a kind up to 4,000 for a Royal Flush (wager dependent).

How to play Color Champion

0.05 to $2 coins can be selected using the arrow button below the main screen. This step is important because you can actually use up to 5 per game. You can actually choose to play 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coins using the bet 1 button (or press Bet Max to play all 5 in one go). Finally you commence play by pushing the deal button.

Initially the 5 cards on the table will be overturned. The machine automatically chooses the strongest cards to hold, but you can overrule this and choose your own if you prefer. Any un-held cards will be replaced with fresh ones and if you hold a winning hand a prize will be paid.

The first of two bonus games can be played after any winning hand is gained. During this bonus you’ll see 1 upturned card and four face down. You will chance your arm to choose one of higher value than the one on view. If you choose correctly your prize is doubled; get it wrong and you will win nothing at all.

Color Fever is triggered when a flush hand is gained. If this happens you’ll gain bonus hands that payout every time a matching card is drawn. This can occur for the first five cards drawn, but the feature can be triggered multiple times.

Interesting variation of video poker that I've not seen elsewhere, with a massive four jokers in the deck - I expected this to make a larger difference to the paytable, considering the effect two appears to have on deuces and joker - provided you play all five coins though, the damage seems insignificant here. The card design is nice enough and the double up feature is intact, so its a good enough VP overall, but the RTP is very low at around 96percent.
