How to play Double Bonus Video Poker

Double Bonus Video Poker:

Powered by Cryptologic Software, Double Bonus Poker dedicates most of its higher payouts to ‘4 of a kind’ combinations. The games uses a traditional 52 card deck. It is based on Jacks or Better, which is one of the oldest and most popular Video Poker games out there. The overall idea for this particular variant of the game is to take payouts on all 4 of a kinds from the Bonus Poker pay table and double them. The highest payout is a Royal Flush!

How To Play Double Bonus Video Poker:

The trick to winning is to receive Four of a Kind. In a typical game of Jacks or Better, the basic payout on Four aces is tripled, and the payout on four 2s, 3s and 4s is doubled. The same idea applies in this version of the game but it is implemented in a slightly different way.

As previously mentioned, the highest possible payout is a Royal Flush. Beneath that major win is Four Aces, Four 2-3-4, a Straight Flush, Four 5-K, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair and finally, Jacks or Better.

Double Bonus Video Poker Features Explained:

The average payout for this game is 99.94%, giving players a pretty decent chance of winning! There is one key strategy for playing this game, which is quite similar to the key strategy used in the traditional Jacks or Better game.

Players can significantly reduce the house advantage by switching to a game with a better payout table. A Double Bonus Video Poker payout table has a higher variance, which means that your bets will be larger and that you will need a larger bankroll keep up in comparison to Jacks or Better. However, your bankroll will last longer.

I'm not really much keen on the overall look of this video poker, but the real killer is the horrible card based gamble feature like seen on many slots... video poker gamble should be the usual five cards in my opinion, I just pick the wrong card every time with this style of double up. Still, it is pretty quick and the cards look good, but overall its still a bit of a disappointment.
