How to play European Roulette

Roulette is a game of chance that is excessively popular in casinos around the world, whether it is land based or online. The game gets its name from the fact that it is played on a wheel, and roulette is the French word for “Little Wheel”. The wheel that is used in the game of roulette has a track that runs along the edge, and 37 or 38 numbered slots. The game with 37 slots is called European Roulette, and it does not contain the additional “00” option that is present in the American Roulette game. All the numbers on the wheel are associated with a color, either red or black.

The game begins by players placing their bet on the betting table. This table is divided into a number of sections depending on the kind of bet that is to be placed. Players can choose to either place inside bets or outside bets. The inside bets are the ones that are placed on a single number or a set of specific numbers. These bets have much higher payouts, but the odds of winning with this form of betting are considerable much lower. An outside bet is one that is placed on a group of numbers. These bets can either be on a dozen (first, second or third), color (Black or Red), or Odd or Even. With an outside bet, the payouts are lower, but the odds of winning are greater.

Once the bets are made, the croupier sets the wheel in motion. At the same time, he spins a small white ball in the opposite direction to the wheel along the circular outside track. The ball eventually comes to a halt and falls into a certain slot. This is the winning number. The winning players are then handed their payout, and another round of betting begins.

I really love this Playtech European Roulette. I like to play roulette and this is my favorite. The ball is going very smoothly and it gives very real feel while playing. Also other thing I like on this roulette is that on this Playtech roulette you will be able to take a spin without placing a bet, and there are no many roulettes will allow you that. And that gives you even more real feeling. My rate is 4.5/5

While the whole Teddy Sagi situation has put many players off of Playtechs games - and I guess I can understand their reasoning - I personally still trust Playtechs software to be fair, and this version of European Roulette is one of the best you will find online. For a start, there is half the house edge compared to American Roulette - a fact that no online gambler should be unaware of ! There is also a quick spin function allowing you to bypass the pointless animation, although sometimes you might find yourself losing money VERY quickly while using this function, I still prefer it to the long drawn out animation of the ball spinning. These things aside, there is very little to seperate most online roulettes from one another, so you might as well play this one!
