How to play Gladiator

B3W have gotten pretty famous for creating video slots inspired by hit movies. This one broadly covers Gladiator and focuses more on action in the arena rather than outside it. Gameplay occurs over a maximum of 25 lines, features fixed coin bets and includes multiple bonus features.

How to Play Gladiator

Coin values on the Gladiator slot are fixed at 0.02 each. You will therefore need to change the number of coins used on each line and the number of lines if you want to wager more than 0.02. Thankfully this is a very easy task and simply requires you to choose both values using the plus and minus buttons provided. These bets can then be wagered using the play button.

Gladiator Features Explained

The pouting gladiator is a joker, which ensures it will count as any other regular icon if a winning opportunity is possible. This is made all the more likely because Gladiator logos will expand to take all position on the reel when it appears.

5 SPQR symbols are needed to trigger the SPQR bonus game. You’ll have to choose from various shields to find weapons to aid the gladiator. Each weapon includes an attached bonus and the round ends once three identical weapons have been found. An abrupt end will occur if a SPQR shield is found though, but any win gained up to that point will be doubled.

Three, four or five wreath logos will trigger the Colosseum bonus. You will be asked to choose one of five possible entrances to the great arena. This awards a prize based on the number of triggering bonus icons.

I'm really quite surprised that B3W can get away with using the name Gladiator for their slot game considering how much money Playtech must have paid to acquire the trademark to create a game of the same name, but alas, what do I know? It's not like they have features named identically, or similar concepts and idea... no wait, they do !! Oh dear, worse still for playtech, amazingly, I actually preferred playing this one over the Playtech version - but then Gladiator(Playtech) has always been terribly cruel to me, so perhaps I've become a tad biased. Whatever the case, this is a nice game for B3W and recommended, whilst its still around !!
