How to play Jacks or Better

Jacks or Better is a well-known casino game that many developers have in their range. This version is produced by Amaya and can be played in your internet browser, as you can see via the free version above.

How to play Jacks or Better

Jacks or Better is configured in a similar way to other Amaya powered poker games. This means you must choose both the credit value and number of credits. 1 to 5 credits can be used, which are linked to the potential prizes shown on the pay table. Obviously the higher risk credits, i.e 5 credit wagers, pay the most.

Each game begins by pressing the deal button, which lays out 5 cards face up on the table. This stage is the most important as you’ll have to choose the best cards to keep, whilst all others are discarded. This leaves a final 5 card hand, which must hold Jacks or Better to payout.

The 4,000:1 jackpot is attached to the Royal Flush. Every other prize can also be viewed on the pay table above the reels. As mentioned before the largest prizes are attributed to 5 coin wagers where the risk is greater.

This game of video poker has been dressed up quite significantly since I last played it - I keep noticing stuff like this whilst trying out the demo games here at latestcasinobonuses, it seems to me that many game developers are taking the time to overhaul their products recently. This is most likely a positive thing although I cannot help but be suspicious when changes are made to any game that I have been particularly lucky on... ;) I guess that is just the gamblers way. This is really as simple as Jacks or Better, a very simple game anyway, can get. There is no double up, but there is at least an auto hold, and the payout table is ALMOST as it should be, bar a bit of a ripoff on the four of a kind. That reason alone is enough for me to recommend playing elsewhere, but if you can live with this one thing, this is a very fast and playable game of VP.

This must be the simplest version of video poker you will find anywhere, and its reasonably attractive too. It's especially fast, which is nice, and most casinos I have seen it available at offer this game with a very low minimum bet. The paytable is regular old jacks or better but the play speed is very fast, so I do like to blast a few hands through this now and again.
