How to play Jacks or Better

Jacks or Better is now a common sight at online casinos. This particular version is designed by 1X2 gaming and comes equipped with a slick interface. The aim of the game is to gain a poker hand containing at least a pair of Jacks. As always the largest prize is reserved for the Royal Flush, which can pay up to 4,000 coins when placing 5 coin bets.

How to Play 1X2 Jacks or Better

The value of each coin can be set using the arrow buttons in the bottom right hand corner. You can further change bets using the 'Bet One' button, which increases the number of coins in play between 1 and 5 coins. The impact on prizes is shown on the pay table, with 1 coin wagers and 5 coin wagers paying the smallest and largest returns respectively.

The deal button can be pressed after initial bets have been set. This issues 5 cards that will automatically be held based on the strongest hand possible. You can override the machines decision and hold as many, or as little, cards as you want. You then draw to replace any un held cards, at which point prizes will payout if you have a winning hand.

    I couldn't get this game to load up in free play mode here at LCB, not sure if it is because I am from the UK and the casino where the free game is based no longer allows us to play there or if it is actually properly broke. I've tried it out in the past though and there really nothing surprising about it, yet another bog standard video poker game ....

    Jacks or Better is pretty much dull as dishwater as far as video poker goes, yet somehow its still one of the most popular versions out there. God people must be so bored!!! Still, 1x2 haven't done too bad with their version here, theres no nasty surprises lurking in the paytable, although they decided not to include a double up feature for some reason, so I wouldn't play this seriously.
