How to play Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger:

This pirate themed Video Slot is equipped with 5 reels and a total of 15 pay lines. Powered by Play ‘N Go software, Jolly Roger can award a maximum Jackpot win of up to 10,000 coins.

How To Play Jolly Roger:

There are various functions at the bottom of the Slot which will guide you while you play. Simply look at the bottom of the screen in order to obtain desired settings such as your bet amount, number of lines used and coins played. There is also an ‘Auto Play’ feature which allows you to set the reels to spin for a set number of turns.

Various pirate themed icons can be found along the reels. These include swords, diamonds, parrots, rings, treasure chests, pirate ships, flags and more.

Coin values begin at $0.01 and go up to $5, making this game ideal for players on a tighter budget.

Jolly Roger Slot Features Explained:

You can look forward to Bonus features while you play!

The Jolly Roger icon will act as the Wild symbol across the reels. This icon has the ability to substitute for all other symbols on the screen, except for other special icons.

A Bonus game will be activated when you receive three or more of the treasure chest icons. When this happens, a new screen will pop up and five treasure chests will appear. You will be expected to choose two of the five chests in order to reveal your prize.

Another icon to look out for is the symbol that shows the pieces of a map. When you receive at least three of these, you will activate a second exciting feature, which involves a map of an island. On this map, five separate locations will be marked. Simply choose whichever three you like in order to obtain yet another prize!

I think PlayNGo has delivered better slots, but I give credits for no annoying audio, a fair amount of no-dead-spins. Not that this slots pays big, so I moved on the other slots rather quickly. I cannot review bonus feature or freespins since I never made it to achieve them.

I am not a Play-N-Go slot fan - if I open a slot and I see that that is the kind it is, I will, 99% of the time, close it again and try somewhere else. There always seems to be a low-paying downside, and this one is no exception. I set te hbet to 75cents which I think is a very realistic and almost slightly generous low-rolling bet. For three cannons, I got 20 cents. For four - that' s four, not three, crossed swords (whatever they're called), it was only 75 cents. Even with the pirate figure - it just seems that it would take a jackpot spin to keep playing at all. The game symbols aren't very thoughtfully laid out, though it would've taken an extra efort to make them move a bi, whch is much appreciated, because other than that there s not a lot going for this as a game, or as a gamble, in my opinion.

Like most of the games created by Play'nGO, Jolly Roger is a pretty fun and in my opinion well designed slot, with low variance and a paytable that I consider appropriate for a slot with 15 paylines. The special features do not seem to be the stronger side of this game, since they are not easily activated and the awards granted are not significant, otherwise it is a game that deserves a look.

I'm partial to a decent pirate themed slot, so when I saw this one from Play n Go I had high expectations. Thing is, whenever manufacturers don't include a free spins round with a decent mutiplier, your basically relying on them putting a large enough chunk of the games RTP into the side game to make it worth playing, and that can be really difficult to work out just from random prizes - from looking at the paytable apparently the max win from the map bonus is much lower than the chest bonus, even for 3 chests, but in my play it didnt seem that way, so I'm not sure if I am reading it right. The base paytable is pretty decent at least, but not good enough that I'd play this game for real money.
