How to play Pai Gow Poker
Viaden Gaming’s version of Pai Gow is your basic rendition of this exciting game. This particular Poker variation originated as an Ancient Chinese game that was traditionally played with dominoes, rather than playing cards. This form of the game is typically recognized as the American rendition and is played with a 53-card deck.
How To Play Pai Gow:
Players must select a chip in order to begin playing the game. In order to select your bet, simply select the desired chip. Denominations are displayed across the front. Once you have chosen the chip, click the space on the betting field you wish to place your bet upon. You can also click on the chip once it has been placed, in order to increase your bet.
In order to remove your bet at any given point, click the ‘X’ button and click the corresponding spot on the screen in which you would like your bet to be removed from. If you wish to repeat your bet after a round has finished, simply choose ‘Rebet.’
Pai Gow Features Explained:
The objective of this game is for the player to split seven dealt cards in their hand into two Poker hands. The two hands should consist of a five-card hand and a two-card hand in order to beat the dealer.
Players must keep one very important rule in mind during play: the five-card hand must rank higher than the two-card hand.
Individual cards will be ranked in the following order: A (high), K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A (low, but only when part of an A-2-3-4-5 Straight or Straight Flush).
In addition, the Joker may only be utilized to complete a Straight, Flush or Straight Flush. If this is not the case, it is valued as an Ace.
