How to play Shock Wave

Shockwave Poker looks and feels like a regular video poker machine. That's until a four of a kind hand occurs because this triggers up to 10 hands that benefit from an elevated bonus pay table. You can try ShockWave poker for free or read more on how it works below.

How to Play Shock Wave Poker

Shockwave Poker offers a similar betting structure to other GamesOS video poker games. You can choose your preferred wager by choosing a coin value and then specifying whether you want to use 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 of them (Bet One button).

The game begins once the deal button has been pressed. This reveals 5 cards that could already include some decent cards. You can hold these cards by clicking on the them but all others will be replaced after the 'draw' phase has been played. This shows a final 5 card hand that will need to include Jacks or better in the very least to payout.

Any hand that contains four matching cards (four of a kind) will trigger the Shockwave bonus. This changes the pay table for 10 games, or as many games leading up to another four of a kind hand. This feature really sets ShockWave Poker aside from others; the four of a kind prize is increased from 500 to 4000;1 for example.

I struggled to understand the name shockwave until I played a few hands and then I realised that they just dressed up a regular game of video poker and gave it a funky name. I really don't rate these GamesOS softwares and the casinos that offer them tend to be very low quality as well, so I'd advise staying away. Note the 8/6 paytable as well!!!

Another day.. another bizarre name for a basic jacks or better video poker game. If you like your screen (and cards) decorated with flashy robots and the like, you might well like this, but for me its just unnecessary variation that serves only to highlight the desperation of GamesOS.
