Amaya has an entire suite of table games but none is more simple, or enjoyable for that matter, that single deck blackjack. This casino classic is played with just 1 deck of cards and players can wager on up to 3 hands at a time. It's the simplest form of Blackjack you'll come across, and you can play it for free above.
How to Play Single Deck Blackjack
You’ll be asked to choose your preferred betting range before the table loads. This will determine the table limits, which when set make it impossible to wager anything larger than the upper limit specified. Once the table has loaded you’ll be able to place bets on 1, 2, or 3 hands by choosing a chip and clicking on any of the ‘bet’ circles.
The aim, as with all other forms of Blackjack, is to get closer to the total 21 than the dealer without going bust. The dealer will issue 2 cards to you before dealing his own. You’ll instantly win the hand if you are dealt a natural Blackjack, if not you will need to continue by either taking another card (Hit) or chancing your current hand. If you beat the dealer you will win, if the dealer is closer to the 21 total or you go bust you will lose. A draw will award back your triggering stake, this also prompts the message to ‘push’.
The ‘Main Menu’ button is the top left hand corner includes options to change graphics quality, animations and sound effects. You can even switch off the dealers voice and turn on ambient sound in this menu. There’s also a comprehensive help guide located under the help menu, which is ideal if you are new to single deck Blackjack.
