How to play Single Deck Blackjack
Single Deck Blackjack, as the name so aptly suggests, is a classic online blackjack game that only uses one deck of cards. This deck is shuffled between hands, but the upshot is you know there’s only one of each card available; so if you have you know the dealer does not. In this game tactics are key.
How to Play Single Deck Blackjack
There are different chips to choose from; 0.10, 1, 5, 25 or 100 dollar chips can be selected from the ones shown in the bottom left hand corner. You can use single chips, or mix them up, by clicking on them and then the hands you want to play.
The next step is to hit the deal button, which issues two cards to each of your hands and two to the dealer. The key difference is that you can only see one of the dealers cards, but that’s still enough to judge if you have a fighting chance of winning. If you gain a natural blackjack (an ace and a face card) the dealer will play but if not you will need to hit or stick (take a card or hold what you have).
The game ends once the dealer has played and your hand is compared to his. If yours is closer to 21 you win the hand, but if your is worse (or you bust) you lose. It’s as simple as that.
