How to play Small Life

It’s a wonderful life for bugs, well they’d describe it as a Small Life really; as do B3W who created this bug inspired video slot. Gameplay occurs over a maximum of 25 lines that include expanding wilds, scatters and two different bonus games.

How to play Small Life

Small Life is very similar to other video slots in the way it is configured with one main difference; on this slot you will not have to change the coin value. Coins are therefore fixed at 0.01 so you’ll have to ramp up the number of lines and coins per line if you want to increase the wager being used. After performing this step you’ll be able to place your chosen wager using the Play button.

Small Life Slot Features Explained

The Preying Mantis is undoubtedly creepy, but does come in handy as a joker card. The neat thing with these jokers is they will spread over the whole reel, which increases your chances of winning in a big way.

Honey Quest, the Small Life bonus game, is triggered when 5 bee symbols appear on the same line. You’ll move to a screen with 24 alveoli on it and will have your pick of the bunch to reveal different icons. You will have to continue to pick until three identical logos have been found. At this point your bonus payout is given before the main reels reload.

Crada the Fly is the second bonus, which is triggered when at least 3 fly symbols on adjacent reels. Crada wants some ‘food’ so you’ll pick it out for her and will gain a bonus prize for your troubles.

When I see games like "Small Life" from B3W I always expect that the bulk of the games RTP must be tied up within the hard to reach feature rounds - afterall, if the paytable only has a couple of decent hits at the very top end, for the combinations that only show up once in a blue moon, surely the average player is trying to hit the feature for a big win, yes? That's how it works in WMS and Bally slots for sure - those guys totally understand that slot players love to hit a feature and win big, and will accept a mediocre base paytable if necessary to fund that. Yet with B3W, the RTP doesn't seem to be anywhere - I guess they just have way too much tied up at the bottom end, meaning that these games will take your money with great reliability, but getting ahead of your start balance is a mission at best. A couple of lame pick me bonuses do not a good slot game make. Next please!
