How to play Tens or Better

Tens Or Better:

It’s all about the tens in this exciting Video Poker game powered by Play’nGO software. In fact, just about all it takes to win a prize is a pair of tens. Though you may find the pay table to offer slightly smaller prizes than what you’re used to, there are still plenty of opportunities to win big. The standard RTP is 93.64% and by betting the max amount, it can be increased to 94.93%.

How To Play Tens Or Better:

This particular game is played with 1 deck. The cards will be shuffled after every round. Players can easily place their bets by clicking the ‘Bet Max’ or ‘Bet One’ at the bottom, left corner of the screen. Once you have placed your bet, you can then click ‘Deal’ in order to be dealt a total of 5 cards, face up. After receiving your cards, you must then choose which cards you would like to hold. Those that are not held will be discarded and replaced after clicking ‘Deal’ once more. Your final hand will determine your win based on the pay table at the top of the screen.

For additional details on how to effectively play the game, players can click the ‘?’ in the bottom, right corner of the screen.

Tens or Better Features Explained:

The Gamble Bonus Round is the same as the other ‘Or Better’ Video Poker Games powered by Play’nGO. When a hand results in a win, you will be prompted to engage in the Bonus Round. If you choose to do so, the objective will be to correctly guess the color or suit of a facedown card. Guessing the color will double your win and guessing the suit will quadruple your win. However, not guessing correctly can result in loss of winnings altogether. The Bonus Round can continue up to five turns if you guess correctly.

  • Oh dear! It seems that Play n Go are becoming something of a master in creating horrendous video poker paytables, which has to be something of a dubious honour in my book! I've got no idea why the four of a kind payout has been more than halved to just 12 coins - its sickening bearing in mind how rare that hand is in this game - and then just 5 coins for both a full house AND a flush?!?! This must surely be paying out 80% at the MOST, perhaps somebody with WinPoker could confirm?

Another horrible paytable, all for the sake of giving a payout for a pair of tens. If this is your preferred game, then you'll like this version from Play n Go - it does look good, plays fast, has good looking cards... but come on, it really doesn't get any more dull playing video poker than this.
