How to play Tens or Better
Tens or Better is an online poker game akin to the video poker you'd play at a modern day Vegas casino. This game requires players to get at least two tens in order to beat the dealer, but prizes can be much larger if the allusive Royal Flush is dealt.
Players have the opportunity to choose from a range of bets that top out at $5. The experience, as you'd expect from a Cryptologic game, is particularly good and very easy to pick up.
How to Play Tens or Better
Tens or Better is a video poker machine, which means bets you'll need to choose an ante bet using the arrows in the top right corner. In actual fact these 'bets' could be described as coins because you can use 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 of them by pressing the 'Bet one' button.
You are dealt 5 cards face up at the start of each game. You will need to decide which cards are worth keeping and then mark them as such by clicking on them. You then press 'draw' to discard your unmarked cards, which are instantly replaced by new cards from the shuffled deck. This leaves you with 5 cards on the table, that will need to contain a pair of 10's at the least to award a prize.
Payouts increase in accordance with the rarity of the hand dealt. Therefore the rarest hand, the Royal Flush, pays the largest potential prize (4,000). You can view every winning hand using the menu in the bottom corner.
