How to play Texas Hold'em

Sheriff Gaming is heavily associated with high quality online video slots, but did you know they also provide card and parlor games too? Take this Texas Hold ‘Em game for example, it presents a 3D poker game with an animated dealer. It’s high class combined with a classic game - try it for free above.

How to Play Texas Hold ‘Em

Before you even think about starting you will need to choose a bet. You’ll be able to select this from the piles of casino chips at the bottom of the screen.

The aim of the game is to create a 5 card poker hand capable of beating the dealers hand. You both will be dealt 2 cards initially and you’ll be asked whether you want to place another bet or fold your cards. If you bet another 3 cards will be dealt; these are communal cards that are used by yourself and the dealer. At this point you can check or place another bet, which will be the same as your ante bet.

The final event is called the flop. This sees two further cards dealt before the strongest hand from yourself and the dealer are shown. Whoever has the better hand will win the pot and you are free to quit the game or play another hand.
