Secrets of Horus Slot Theme
The Egyptian theme is apparent from the outset with stone effect pillars placed behind the line markers and hieroglyphics filling the top section behind, and either side of the logo. The reels themselves have been designed to look like papyrus parchment with themed icons stacked three high on each reel.
These reel icons include scarab beetles, The Falcon (sacred to Horus), Canopic jars, the Ibis Bird, Eye of Rah, scrolls, The Fetish of Osiris and various other symbols which animate when a winning links are formed.
Bets and options are controlled using Net Ent’s standard control panel which is a breeze to use. Options include 0.02, 0.10, 0.20 0.50 coin values combined with 1 to 4 bets per line and 20 possible paylines. This makes the betting range 0.02 to $40 per spin depending on how the different betting options are configured.
The circular button (which looks a little like a recycling sign) is a start/stop button. If your reflexes are up to it you can ‘skill stop’ the reels, it’s tricky but can come in handy.
Secrets of Horus Features
The Ice Blue and Gold Scarab Beetle awards scatter wins and free spins. Three icons awards 15 free spins, with all wins subject to a 3x multiplier. Scatter wins are paid with at least two scatters. Two will double the stake, three awards a 5x multiplier, four a 25x multiplier and five a 500x multiplier. All in all, scatter icons on this slot are very useful indeed.
The wild symbol also has dual responsibilities, initially it can substitute for all other symbols except the scarab scatter. Any wins created are doubled too. When five of these icons appear on an active payline the 10,000 coin jackpot is paid, when playing the highest stakes this equates to $20,000.
Secrets of Horus may not offer as many features as other slots but it does offer a great control panel, graphics, gameplay and a generous jackpot.
