Wall Street is at the financial heart of New York, some say the world, as it houses the biggest banks, planners and stockbrokers around. This famous street has been thrust into the public eye by recent scandals and countless films including one starring Shia Labeouf and Michael Douglas.
Wall Street Fever is based on the daily antics of traders with action playing out over five retro reels. There's wild icons, free spin scatters and the chance to try your hand at trading for cash rewards during the bonus game. It also boasts a progressive jackpot, which we've calculated averages just over $124,000.
Wall Street Fever Slot Theme
Wall Street fever is based on traders who buy and sell stock on the frantic trading floor in New York. There are three traders above the reels in a frantic freeze frame with one on the phone and another bellowing at the top of his voice. The designers have chosen a retro feel, similar to the 80s. This is presumably why they chose traditional graphics over 3D ones.
The graphics include items which traders would use, or perhaps ones which they might buy or sell. You'll find briefcases, slips, red desk phones, mobile phones, Wall Street signs, monitors, cash, dollar signs and bulls.
The design also includes a progressive jackpot counter above the reels in a ticker style similar to that on the trading floor. This is won when five Wall Street road signs appear on an active payline. This happens every 24 days on average with the largest win so far paying $713,000!
Betting Options and More Functions
What would expect to wager to be in with a chance of winning the progressive jackpot? We'd bet you'd be surprised to hear it's just 0.50 and that's the maximum wager! Players can place bets from 0.10 to 0.50 using the options below the reels with all top wagers capable of winning the progressive pot.
Wall Street Fever Slot Features
The Wall Street road sign plays as a wild, which allows it to substitute for any single icon bar the graph and free spin graphic. As mentioned earlier five of these graphics also pays the progressive jackpot.
Three, four or five free spin arrow graphics will award 5, 15 or 50 free spins respectively. These can be retriggered during the free spins an indefinite number of times too.
The bonus game is triggered when three or more graph arrows appear on the reels. You are given a number of items and it's your choice which one to sell with all profits going straight into your pot - it's like a little trading game on the side.
Our Take on Wall Street Fever
The excitement of the stock market has been put into a video slot. Some might find this an odd combination whilst others (us included) will see the benefits. We're not bowled over by the graphics but feel the features and progressive jackpot more than make up for it. The interface is easy to use and is option rich too.
