Wild West is a three reeled video slot which uses Chartwell technology. Gameplay is simplistic and suited for beginners and experienced players alike. It even includes wilds, multiple betting options and an impressive $20,000 maximum jackpot.
Wild West Theme
A mining town is used for the setting of Wild West slots. The reels hang from a timber frame which is positioned between two rows of buildings. These buildings aren't just decorative as buttons and key information are integrated into their design. We particularly liked the buttons which instead of being boring rectangles are mounted on wooden barrels.
The reels also come complete with typical Western items. These include bottles of moonshine, whiskey, grog, piles of gold (in blue/red/white) and sheriffs badges. None of these are animated but a red line does mark any win on the payline.
Betting Options and More Functions
Players can wager either one, two or three coins which range in value from 0.01 to $5. This means total bets range from 0.01 to $15. The number of coins used also has a direct impact on potential prizes which is why the paytable has three columns.
Wild West Slot Features
The Sheriffs badge plays as both a wild and multiplier. This icon can substitute for all other icons and will double or quadruple the standard payout when one or two are used respectively.
Our Take on Wild West
We like the unusual layout which is entertaining whilst remaining easy to use. We'd stick by our point that this slot has universal appeal, with a slight advantage to newer players who are learning how slots work.
A little known fact is that Chartwell licenses their slots to other providers which means you can also play their games at Net Entertainment casinos.
