A business man from Brazil headed to Uruguay and stopped at the casino for a bit of pleasure. What seemed like a foolish wager turned into a fortune at a roulette table at Conrad Punta del Este Resort & Casino. At one time or another we’ve all contemplated putting “it all” on a single number but on January 3rd, Pedro Grendene Bartelle did just that having placed a $35,000 bet on #32. Sure enough, it hit and paid $3.5 million!
Pedro appeared pretty confident as friends recorded the gamble. Who knew the president of a shoe company was such a baller? The footwear industry certainly does pay. His company, Grendene, was founded in 1971 and has become the third largest shoe company in the Latin American market today.
The video shows the chips stacked on the table, a delay as the wheel spins and a roaring crowd when it lands on 32. The winner huddles up with his buddies in a celebratory group hug.
The casino is home to over 500 slots and a range of casino games. The hotel, restaurants and nightlife are on the property including the St. Tropez restaurant, where a celebrity or two have been spotted.

Oh, wow, this is the craziest bet I have ever seen. I still can believe that the straight bet on one number 32 ? Is it one man's bet ? Usually, there are the max bet on the table, and it can be big like $1000 or more, but, this casino seem not to set any max bet. And the casino would never have had this kind of experience...

Betting 35k on any number would indeed win exactly 1.225.000. As indicated in a video description on youtube, this guy was actually betting a whole $100.000 in 'complete bet' type of betting.

That was amazing! I guess the question is, how did he know or what made him choose that number? How exciting was that! You can see by that group hug that this was life changing, well it would be for me. Good for him! This is one of those times when the casino can't blame it on a malfunction. They have to pay...

In the video we can see how he put a big bet on the number 32. And I think exactally this number won this roullet spin. If he put 35k on the number he would win 1.26kk. Something wrong is this story.

I did not understood how to convert 35K to 3.5M in one single roulette spin !! putting chips in one number turns 35x your bet and not 100x like in this case. Anyway, he is a very courageous man even I'm sure that he lost or he will lose more than this amount at gambling.
