Pala Casino Spa & Resort hosts its grand opening today, May 23rd, showing off its $6.1 million 10-acre RV Resort, located in Pala, California. More specifically, it is situated just across the way from Pala’s hotel casino. It is composed of 77 20’x55’ back-in sites, along with 6 20’x60’ luxury sites equipped with BBQ grills, and 17 20’x70’ pull-through spaces.
Additionally, sites come equipped with access to hook-ups for water, electric & sewer, restrooms, showers, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, laundry services, 24-hour security patrol, and complimentary shuttles to the casino. There are five BBQ grill areas, as well as a fenced dog park, horseshoe pit and table tennis on the property. Visitors may bring pets for an additional charge.
The inspiration behind the opening of this resort was to increase the flow of customers, as well as expand its presence in the recreational travel market.
CEO of Pala, Bill Bembenek, released a statement to The Press Enterprise: “Memorial Day weekend is already sold out, and we are getting lots of reservations for the weeks following Memorial Day.”
Bembenek added that the location is a major selling point, as it is “nestled in the foothills of the Palomar Mountains… It’s a beautiful setting.”
Visitors will also have access to a number of indoor amenities, including a billiard table, card tables, and a selection of games.
Just last year, the facility also added a 6,000 square-foot restaurant, bar & lounge, called CAVE, which is also equipped with a magnificent underground wine cave.
