LCB Sniffs Out Bogus Games at BTC Casino

BTC Casino has been on LCB’s Warning List since December 2014 due to issues regarding slow payouts or failure to pay players period. Representatives have failed to respond to emails and have disappeared from the forum plus the website offers no information about licensing. To make matters worse we have discovered evidence that they are presenting players with a selection of bogus games in the form of a frequently used combination of games from Novomatic, Igrosoft and NetEnt.

These fake versions are a bit more difficult to spot at first because they are very close to the genuine versions but unfortunately for BTC, they are not good enough for LCB. When the Slots load, the loader looks very much like the original except that the font is slightly different.

Inspecting the Source Code

BTC hosts its pirated games on this domain: https://gameprocessingsystem.com

Additional fake versions of NetEnt titles are hosted on this domain: btc.hiddenholysystem.com

This is evident in the image we captured from the casino. You’ll notice the unauthorized source in the Starburst game. Furthermore, you never see the word ‘DEMO’ in the cash balance of a genuine game from NetEnt.

As a point of reference, here’s a look at a genuine version of Starburst.

*Genuine Starburst

Another example is a bogus version of Novomatic’s Lucky Ladies Charm found at this casino. As the game loads you can see the differences.

*The fake:

*The real:

The source code reveals a shady hosting domain as shown below:

Again, here’s a look at the real deal. Notice the location of the buttons like Autoplay, Paytable and Start:

While some players may have never experienced problems receiving their payouts from this casino, we do not recommend depositing your money into BTC Casino. With altered versions of games in their possession, they also have the freedom to alter the Return to Player (RTP) and cheat players as they please. The jackpots will be inaccurate as well so we advise you to please stay away from these guys.

Sure hope these guys get what's coming to them. Is anyone else here familiar with being placed on Saturn for 1,000,000 years? Must be a yogi thing. Agni Yoga to be precise...

Thanks LCB for catching this type of fraud. BTC Casino was suspicious from the beginning. And there are evidence that it is a rouge casino. I remember that there were a few of casinos on the same platform, so that we have to avoid those casinos too. How could the bogus game can be possible, it should be replica of the original game, correct ? I think that players gotta be more cautious in choosing BTC casinos and newly opened casinos where big match bonuses are offered with NetEnt Slots. Thanks.

Wow, good detective work LCB, it is actually scary that this was allowed to happen, but it is beyond me why they would do this, surely they are going to be up for some criminal investigation and get sued by the actual real companies?? So why would a casino do this and make pirated versions of games, and it must have taken a lot of time and work to get them looking and working the same too. But lets hope they shut the casino down and they get blocked and criminal charges get brought too.

No matter how much it costs to get a license for the genuine games, you are assured of turning a profit over the long run - if you genuinely have the funds to backup an online casino operation there is little reason not to get the real genuine games, if your going to use these "custom" lookalikes, why not try and earn a name for yourself with brand new games full stop? Sure there are some people who only want to play the games they know, but if you don't want to pay for their games, running these shady ripoffs is a sure fire way of putting those same players right off as soon as they realise! Just bad business practice and surely, an obvious sign these guys are just trying to make a quick buck.

I've been issuing warnings to players on bitcointalk forum in the BTC Casino thread for over a year now. Yet players still play and deposit there. This casino is one of the worst rogues I've encountered in my 15 years of online gaming. They steal bitcoin deposits, they don't pay players, and they run illegal likely rigged software.

you would think with all the at home gaming consumers and what must be a huge market that the software developers would try to not let rogue or dishonest hands get a hold of their material as it is a nice change of pace to be able to switch up . I myself do not wonder very far from my sites or shall I say site I frequent as I know my money is not just going into the trash can and a cash out and ethical customer and provider relationship is a guarantee but it would be nice to have a little more reliability in this industry
