iSoftBet has added to its portfolio of games with the upcoming launch of its new Video Slot, Cloud Tales.
The new game is available on HTML5 and Flash featuring wilds, multipliers and much more. The features include Floating Mushroom Island, Mystery Eggs and Symbol Switches.
Luci Apostolou, Head of Sales at iSoftBet, said, “iSoftBet is known for creating simple and yet innovative games and Cloud Tales truly exemplifies that. Our teams have worked extremely hard to create this impressive 9-line slot. It has vibrant graphics and truly offers players something they have not experienced before.”
The full launch is scheduled for desktop and mobile on June 1, 2016.
Now that the specifics of the game features are out of the way, let’s discuss the design for a moment. If you don’t like cutesy cartoon-like symbols than you probably won’t like Cloud Tales. In fact, this game looks like it was designed for young children, which makes you wonder what the designers were thinking when they created these graphics for the online gambling market.
Surely there are some adult players out there that prefer this style but we’d like to hear what you think about the game and whether you think developers have a responsibility when creating game concepts. Is it just a coincidence that it would catch the attention of any 5-year-old that caught a glimpse of mom or dad’s mobile? Perhaps it’s simply a throwback to our childhood just as Mega Boy appealed to 1980’s video gamers with its retro feel.

Errr, can this even be a serious question?!? Of course this game is going to appeal to children, and it sure as hell looks like it was created with children in mind! Not wanting to stereotype but who apart from the most girly of women are going to want to play a game that looks like this??? No sorry, not necessary or acceptable...

Sure developers should have a responsibility when creating game concepts and I also think that this game looks like theme created to children. But in casinos there is age limits so children are not supposed to get play this game, that is why I truly hope this is created to adults like Pink Panther and all another cartoon...

Kids aren't supposed to have anything to do with any of this. I think that slot developers are going in the wrong direction, the fluffier they get, unless they're trying to be comical. "Does this appeal to adults" should be the question.
