Back Yggdrasil Awarded B2B License

Provider of market-leading online and mobile casino games, Yggdrasil Gaming has made headlines with its recent acquirement of a B2B remote gambling license, awarded by the Gibraltar Gambling Authority.

Upon obtaining this license, the third for the company, the Cherry AB subsidiary has earned the ability to supply its online content to operators licensed in Gibraltar, and host clients in the UK, in order to strengthen its position among the European market.

This past December, Yggdrasil acquired a license by the UK Gambling Commission in relation to its Maltese gambling market, serving as its second license prior to this most recent one. Its third license follows the company’s submission of a formal application at the beginning of February.

According to CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, Fredrik Elmqvist, “The Gibraltar licence really is an important piece of the jigsaw for Yggdrasil. We’ve had great success in Malta and things have been going really well since we received our UK licence in December.”

Elmqvist further added, “Gibraltar is a hugely important jurisdiction with a large number of major operators and we are delighted to become part of the Gibraltar e-gaming community.”

The last year has been a busy one for Yggdrasil. It has successfully inked deals with top European operators, gone live with a series of new slot titles, and introduced ‘BOOST,’ a collection of promotional tools.

“We’ve established a point of difference compared with other suppliers which will help us achieve our aim of becoming the best supplier in the industry,” Elmqvist continued.
