Following in the footsteps of Microgaming and iSoftBet, the Swedish software provider Play'n GO will soon provide its full portfolio of casino games to a newly regulated market in Romania. After becoming Hungary's first online casino, the company was looking to extend its reach into Easter Europe, and now it has successfully realized this important growth strategy.
The license to operate in Romania was issued to Play'n GO by the Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN), which is the main regulatory body in the country. Johan Törnqvist, Play’n GO CEO, has commented on the new deal, noting that the company is excited to be granted a license to enter the Romanian online gambling market, since they have registered a growth in demand for their products on the local market. He added that the company has a long list of operators waiting to get their content, and that he is certain Romanian gambling customers will find this partnership delightful.
Play'n GO seems to be furiously expanding lately, signing new deals and contracts, reaching new markets and collaborating with other premium casino content providers, with over 100 gambling operators worldwide using their software.
