Red Stag Winner Ditches Nevada Holiday to be With His Family

Here's one winning story both awesome and touching, about one lucky raffle and the best dad ever - Bobby T. from Mississippi.

An off shore marine captain, Bobby got himself involved in the Father's day raffle contest organized by Red Stag Casino over the Father's Day weekend earlier this month. Not only did this great promotion have the simplest of entry requirements - tickets were earned just by playing any of the WGS games featured at the casino, but the prize was very tempting as well. The lucky winner was to spend a $1500 holiday in Reno, Nevada with all expenses covered, including a luxurious hotel stay and one of the famous shows on the Strip.

Even though he spent the whole weekend playing the raffle, which earned him a bunch of tickets and ultimately the first prize, Bobby had other plans in mind. Due to the nature of his job, he is away from home a lot, so he decided to forego the sparkling luxury of Nevada and took the cash instead, in favor of spending precious time with his loved ones.

“I’m sure a getaway to Reno would have been fun,” admitted the marine, “But I’m away from home a lot due to my job. So I’d rather spend the money doing something with the whole family.”

He also had a word of advice for all internet gamblers: “I think the way to win is to play whatever you feel like at the moment and never get stuck in just one game.”

  • good for him and that's pretty good of red stag to even offer cash in place of preize happy father he was and hopefully had himself a great day with family . always good when you hear of someone deserving that wins makes me want to play more often then just not at all . good luck all
